Last time FA signed for effectively 4 years, twas actually 3.7 years but lets say 4 years for 90 million. With 10 & P+ paying the broadcast costs.

The Australian reported a couple of weeks back the next deal was 200 million over 4 years.

The closest to final figure, will be the GOAT poster of the week.

My guess,

Cash .... 225 million
Ads on 10 & P+ .... 40 million
10 pay all broadcasting costs.

Interesting if it is this high should FA help APL over the next 12 months .

Thanks johns,

This by Joey Lynch back in June 6 - the last sentence I pasted below.
Football's focus: Time for A-League to concentrate on strengths - ESPN
"spending half their time moonlighting as corporate strategists or demographic experts."

Great article by Joey Lynch who is undoubtedly the best football writer this country has. His empathy with the fans and how out of step the APL is shows just where everything is going wrong.
The other article, on Apple News,  is just telling us what’s wrong with the A league but no suggestions on how it might be fixed.
