Poor administration aside (which I agree with you both were/are as shit as each other) how does 10 Australian business restricting the other thousand plus clubs from participating at the top level provide any "level playing field" or lack of "discrimination"???? Clubs cant get promoted up to Aleague, cant buy their way up to Aleague yet somehow they have an "agenda" for wanting to create a national competition outside the Aleague? I applauded new owners for a football club in Australia in the top tier of Australian football, this is good news. I do not have the controlling ability to change the lack of level playing field at the top level, however, my team plays in the top level & all the Socceroos players mainly come from the top level, so hence I follow it. Like I said football administration has been terrible in this country for 50 years that I have followed it. I want Australia to have football as a community, with everyone under that same umbrella with a level playing field, however, this is my want, I don't have the ability to change it. Just like I want a fair & equal world, but that aint happening anytime soon neither. hence my stance not supporting the top flight, I drew the line hoping to make a difference fingers crossed one day. I don't want any of my hard earned going to the APL, you know 2 systems will not do the game justice but I degress, its your choice as stated many times. Yes LFC it's a choice. It's same as the premier league, despite all the BS Liverpool & Klopp talks about Man City buying the competition, so did Liverpool, Man U, Arsenal. I really do the top 6 would P!ss off to the super league & allow the other clubs to compete fairly & equally. That is why I don't even want Derby in the PL, the championship is just fine by me, at least we can win that, we can never win the PL, unless we get brought out by some Middle eastern or American hedge fund. Why bother tying yourself in knots, just come out and admit you hate every other club outside the Aleague because they are "filthy wogs" and you are more than happy for the Aleague to remain a stand alone plastic series of uneven matches that plastics can pretend is an actual football league? Plenty of your kind are openly hostile to football outside of their franchise... No need to pretend you "care about football" just financially support the franchise side of things, thats perfectly acceptable if thats what you want ... Dont pretend you WANT equality though...
