New signings in Foxtel Cup

IT WILL be football's version of New Faces across the Foxtel Cup this weekend as the closing of the May transfer window provided a flurry of signings around the Victorian Premier League.
Former Sydney and Perth Glory utility Luka Glavas will suit up for Heidelberg against Western Suburbs.
Ex-Adelaide United pair Adam van Dommelle and Kristian Rees have linked with South Melbourne and Whittlesea Zebras respectively. A loan deal has also brought Melbourne Victory's young goalkeeper Mitchell Langerak to South Melbourne. Langerak will have the opportunity to start this week, away to Kingston City.
A fill-in captain with Victory in season one, Mark Byrnes has found himself at home with Richmond while exciting young striker Paul Giannou has joined Oakleigh Cannons for their battle with Springvale tonight. The Cannons have also renewed the lapsed contract of Con Boutsianis, who retired last season.
