It was quite good. Better than I expected.
some points:
1. you gotta fix that echo (ie the bathroom tile sound). whether it be tablecloths on the table, curtains on the windows...or dampening on the walls...its a bit of a trap for young players in the world of podcasting. perhaps better mics or even the post editing might also assist.... I'm not expert in this area, but I've listened to a lot of different podcasts and echo is distracting.
2. dont be afraid to be hard hitting and dont get too caught up in the rudimentary review of matches (like SBS's local game borefest).... its the other stuff that makes it interesting
cheers and keep up the good work

Well done lads on a good podcast. Its not perfect.. but hey, neither am I .... yet! :-P
I agree with the echo, it was one of the first things I noticed when I first started listening at the start of the A-League season.
You obviously have based the pod around The Football Weekly podcast done by The Guardian in the UK and its a good formula to follow.
I enjoyed listening to Simon Hill with the last pod even though I got distracted and I am only half way through. Maybe bring in Michael Cockral or Les Murray or Craig Foster or Andy Harper on a rotating guest appearance?
May I also suggest a change to the timing. I tend to listed to something like this on the train into work so might it work with the pod coming out on a Wed or Thurs? How would others feel about this?
I also pose this question to the pod... Just as clubs bring in a marquee player, do you think a well known English TV commentator would make his way down and be part of a broadcast team if the money was right? (Of course no disrespect to any of the current TV commentators who cover the A-League.)
