Thierry Henry out the door

Listening to the Guardian Football Weekly podcast and Sid Lowe seemed certain Barca will show Henry the door and allow him to leave for free as he's clearly not worth the huge wages - most likely to the MLS.

Would be THE marquee so far if he came to Sydney - the level of signing needed to bring in the peripheral Sydney supporters as there aren't many football fans who don't know Thierry Henry, and would obviously fill those creative boots vacated by Kisel and Corica.

I would be amazed if any Aussie club could get him.

The way Perths behaved in the last 2 transfer seasons, i'm suprised you haven't had a crack at squeezing him under the cap ;)

Pretty sure for any A-League side to get him, they'd have to sell everyone else to get him under the cap. Not that'd matter, he'd probably still win most games by himself...

There's no way he would even fit in that case hahah.
