THANK YOU PIM! I just hope the next coach can take it from here with the same success as you have give us all.

What do you think about the FourFourTwo article Pim's Oz Farewell?
PIM Verbeek has spoken of his love of Australia and the admiration he has for his players ahead of his final game as Socceroos coach on home soil.

Have your say.

Japan and Australia are just two examples of what a difference a good manager makes..Pim's brand of stodgy football is something that I won't miss, personally. He did his job I suppose, but then again that is what he is being paid to do.I hope the next coach can shift it up a gear and bring out a bit of flair and brains.

Pim has been half a coach. He brings respectability and gravitas to the team. According to the players he also seems to be a good man manager. However, he seems to have used Henk Duut's 433 national player development tactical framework as a bible. Maybe this is the FFAs doing and Pim would have made different decisions in the absence of pressure from on high?
