Completely agree! I've been going on about this for months now, I even mentioned it to Pim in an online chat but didn't get a response. I think this World Cup could have more goals scored from distance, or as a result of spills from the keeper, than any World Cup before. Two of our best are David Carney and Tommy Oar but neither look like getting game time, which is maybe understandable.
However what I can't understand is why Scott McDonald wasn't selected when he is a bonda fide expert at following up other people's shots and scoring a stack of goals from it. He could have been a real weapon for us off the bench.
