John Travolta showed that he still has the moves when he performed the Diski Dance shortly after landing his Boeing 707 at Lanseria airport, north of Johannesburg, yesterday morning.

Travolta, a pilot, flew himself, pregnant wife Kelly Preston, and daughter Ella Bleu from Buenos Aires, Argentina, on a plane he said was "such a piece of art".

The goodwill ambassador for Australian airline Qantas arrived in full pilot uniform and is in the country to show support for the Australian Socceroos at their first match against Germany, in Durban, on Sunday.

"The last time I went and saw the team in their change-room, I think they were more excited about having Danny Zuko [Travolta's character from Grease] than getting into the World Cup," he said.

"I wasn't able to follow them to Germany because of filming commitments, but this time I am going to enjoy the game and whatever South Africa has to offer."

Hehe. Always loved Travolta. I don't even care if he is in the closet.

Did anyone see him on foxsports this morning singing gresse songs to the boys over there, it was the most cringe worthy thing I have ever seen, and he just kept going and going.

Haha. I just watched it and yeah it was pretty awkward. Way easier to watch in 2005, but now all the guys weren't as pumped or getting into it.

I thought it was still good though. Funny to watch.
