On that performance, I think Australia would have at least drawn with Uruguay. But full credit to them, they held it together against France and got the result here, hope they can line up a big Round Two battle against arch-rivals Argentina! That would be a great test for Diego's boys.
Uruguay completely dominated this game. South Africa just were not allowed to play, they restricted them to nothing. Everytime they attacked we would just shut them down. I think South Africa's first shot on target was in the 68th minute.
And, Uruguay and Australia are not in the same group. So why on earth are you comparing them?
I for one though, hope they don't play Argentina any time soon.
