Fabio - "I want to remain manager"
Translation - "If I resign I dont get my contract paid out. If they fire me, they still have to pay me 6 million pounds for another couple of years...."

Like his idea of a winter break though. Play th EPL over the Xmas, NYE period to get the holiday crowds in, but then break for January. It would solve any problems with African Nations Cup, and Asian cup club V's country scenarios, and would give the players a break. It would of course mean more mid week games through the season, but is that so bad??
