It's quite simple. Looking at the German, Dutch and Spanish squads it becomes fairly obvious.

Play foreigners.

The Dutch have Boulahrouz (Morroccan decent) and Braafheid (Suriname).

The Spanish have Iniesta, Xavi, Pique, Busquets, Valdez (all Catalan) and Llorente and Martinez (Basque) - which would be independant if the politicans and ETA had their way. Not to mention that Senna has been a mainstay in previous seasons

The Germans have Trochowski (Polish), Klose (polish), Podolski (polish), Khedira (tunisian), Boateng (Ghanaian), Aogo (Nigerian), Ozil (Turkish), Cacau (Brazilian), Marin (Serbian) and Gomez (Spanish).

When 10 of your 23 man squad could have played for another country - Kudos to your recruitment.

Maybe we need to be stealing more foreign players :-k

I think we may have just found a new 'Pacific Solution'. Lets swap these boat people for Brazilians. How to they feel about Indians in Brazil?
