They approached FFA about 18 months ago, I remember Chippers said he'd quit his current club to join them but they went quiet.
Other reports have NBN as a finacial backer and Wollongong Wolves as the franchisee so although its a rush job I don't see a problem for them getting there seeing as Wellington did it and did'nt have a pre established club to help.

jasonnova.....dont knock the old NSL mate....football was a lot better than what is played around at the moment!
As for wolves...I will become a priest first, before wolves get in!
