If any one cares to know , Football NSW has done a u turn on its first grade and u/20 competition they are going back to winter.I wish i could have been there when Frank Lowey went into a meeting and told fnsw you are going back to winter no ifs or buts.FFA would love nothing more than to get their hands on the millions of dollars that FNSW has in there coffers, but at the end of the day the commonsense decision was made regarding the young footballers of NSW .=d> =d> =d> =d>

I think the FFA saw the move to summer as a militant one, which added little value to the game as a whole. The real value for SL comps is in winter, where some players can develop and then gain a move to the HAL. It's strategically a better move. If one states moves, all state comps will need to, not just a localised decision.

it was the clubs that wanted it changed not the players, there not getting the crowds there on a cold winter afternoon
