Sydney United ground certainly seems the best of those listed, considering it is owned, and a good size also. Belmore is too big these days, and also leased, but its has good transport links. Are there any plans to upgrade the facilities there, as there were many complaints from the Bulldogs in the past about that?

Bias favorite is Belmore Sports Ground for historical and sentimental value. Next favorite is Lambert for how close you are to the action. Jensen Park is the worse without a doubt, and no not because of ethnic reasons.

Pretty good bunch of stadiums that are used. Do they close half the big grounds to save on security costs etc?

Federal govt joint plan with Olympic and Bulldogs to renovate Belmore Sports Ground announced during the election campaign 2010, $5million first phase to rebuild parts of the stadium, add a gym, meeting rooms and renovate offices http://www.youtube.com/user/SydneyOlympic1957#p/f/8/lJm6ONiUp0s phase 2 we are talking similar figures, good news ahead

Congratulations Ultraboy, this is probably the most useful thing you've ever posted =d>
I've only been to a couple of these grounds but not in the last 10 years. Wish I'd made it to Edensor - it looks sweet.

Belmore is too big really... but is a good ground to watch football in.
Edensor, Bonyrigg and Marconi are also good stadiums to watch. I agree with Ultragirl in Bankstown though.. shonky stadia. never feel comfortable there

I can't believe how beautifull these grounds are for state league football compared to Brisbane. All we have in the way of seated or covered venues are Perry Park for the Strikers, Spencer Park for Brisbane City and Luxury Paints stadium for Brisbane Lions who are in the second division. People in Sydney should be attending in their thousands for the bigger clubs at least. I'm assuming these clubs have vast junior ranks. What can these clubs do to get their juniors to attend matches?
