I do to. Love him or hate him, he is a good player and will fit in at the purist club for purists because he himself is a purist.

He will be good for you 24 games of the year, but can't help himself against the real Melbourne. Clean sweep of the derby's coming up if he signs. Nah he'd love nothing more than to score the winner against you, methinks. Marrone-Ljubo-Colosimo-Behich, pretty solid back 4 but yet aging central defensive pairing.

Could be a very good move for both parties...and wouldn't hurt the Victory v Heart rivalry either.

his understanding of the game is first class and is a very solid and experienced centre back love to have him at the club, i'm assuming he wouldn't be expensive either as we would offer him more than he is getting at south melbourne at the moment

Laughable if true. "I WANT TO LEAVE JETS AUSTRALIA & A-LEAGUE SUX!" A few months after realising it is, in fact, him that sucks, he's all "OMG HEART R THE BEST FOOTBALL CLUB EVA THEY LIKE GRASSROOTS TEAMS N STUFF!"
He's such a child. I would never have him at my club, he'll just leave if he gets an offer from FC Blagenspagenhagen in the German 4th division or something and spout the same shit again, and then come back with his tail between his legs again because while he has talent he gets shitcanned by clubs because he's an awful person and an awful dressing room presence.

heart offered him a deal at the start of last season and he turned it down. Nevertheless, i think he would play for them given the european coach. Given that he is in melbourne at the moment, it very well could happen. Plus, it is ljubo, we have come to expect the unexpected from him

Hey, coming back to the VPL was already with his tail between his legs. All depends, doesn't it? There's lots of rumours going around - one is that he's got a deal for next season already sorted out, so he's returned here to spend time with his (lovely) lady, his family and friends, and stay fit whilst picking up a few $$ in the VPL. If that's the case then it's not such a tail between the legs deal, more of a Ljubo will be laughing at everyone later deal. On the other hand, if he's bombed out in Europe, and had no interest from Asia, then we'll find out in September/October and everyone can have a good giggle at him.

We'll take him at sydney as long as we are given the opportunity to remove the muppets voice box, fix his lip, provide him with a decent stylist and remove all his fingers so he cant type.

So, just maybe all the overseas offers were just bullshit, I see Ljubo(I hope I pronounced it correctly) hasn't popped by to scoff at the rumour, could be true.

Can I ask a general question to you all - what do you think of Ljubo Milicevic as an actual football player (putting aside his personality or comments)?
I think any A-League club that signed him would be lucky to have him - although if we do sign him, I hope we include an "anti-media" clause that forbids him from talking to the media during the season. I think that's the only logical way any team here would want to do business with Ljubo.

He does lack accountability sometimes, but I still think as an overall player he would be of benefit to any A-League club. I don't know what he is like around the club with the other players, but I'd only assume he wouldn't be as obnoxious as he comes across in the media, considering he has been captain for a fair few sides. Anyway, its all speculation atm. But I would be pretty content getting rid of Beauchamp and having Ljubo in place of him.

He is a technical player who can play out from the back. I'd love to see him stay in the A League. He is also a good organiser. He knows his own game well enough to be able to assist others around him. T-S improved immeasurably as his partner and as a CB in general.

As I said - Quote:he is a good player and will fit in at the purist club for purists because he himself is a purist. and he would enjoy working with "professionals" like Van't Schip, Olsen, and Aloisi and not - Quote:c*cksuckers like Merrick, Cole and Muscat. Come home Ljubo.

Quote:Constantine also dismissed Milicevic's status as a self-proclaimed players' advocate, saying the players "wouldn't piss on Ljubo if he was on fire". HAHAHAHAHAHA! If Ljubo went to Heart that would make my year! So much for a European contract bekoning! I love how all his followers assumed he was only in the VPL due to the fact he was keeping match fitness before returing to Europe. Because that's going to eventuate... C'mon Ljubricant, go to Heart, keep talkin', continue to keep in real, and keep diggin' that hole. hahahahahahaha
