I've seen some users have .gifs for their sig or avatar.

However, a few times I've tried to make my sig a gif and it doesn't let me. If I type the url into a webpage it works fine, but when I upload it here it doesn't work. It's just a single image.

Any suggestions as to how I can fix this, Webby?

My suggestion? Prevent all sig & avatar gifs. ;)

That would have been freaky, but I just checked his page and he isn't suspended.

Problem still occurring. I suppose it's rather funny and all, and given I don't post all that often at the moment, one could even say I could feel privileged in a warped way that this bug, or whatever it is, has chosen the infrequent poster that is I. I just hope it's not something I should be worried about in regards to comp security or anything?

And is a mod or admin looking into this?

Put it in the text justification tags and it should work. They seem to block the server's image resizing code, which is what I presume reduces animated GIFs to a single frame.
