He was clearly APIA's best player at the time and one of the best midfielder's in the league. Then again, Brendan Gan won player of the league a few years ago, so it doesn't mean a whole lot.

Your working holiday visa will be sufficient enough.

Thank you all guys.
Your answers are so clear.
I'll come at the end of October...I'm not interested much in money but I want to play.
Even if for only one season I hope to join the league.
But now I've another question...
If I've a working holiday visa,do you think that is a problem for the teams ?
As "penrithparty" said..if I'll stay with a working holiday visa I can play...( You can play with a working holiday visa, which allows you to work for one "employer" for 6 months. The season usually runs from April to September so it is just long enough.)

I hope it's true but as "aussietarfan" said I need a visa that cost 60000 dollars and I don't think that a team want to pay so much for a player's visa...tell me if you're agree...
Thank you again
Alex

If you're good enough for Lega Pro Prima Divisione, you're probably good enough for NSW Premier League. If you play Lega Pro Seconda Divisione, you should trial at one of the clubs to see if you can make it.

You don't make much money, but if you are outstanding then the A-League clubs can be quick to sign you up (like Moriyasu and Alex Smith). You can play with a working holiday visa, which allows you to work for one "employer" for 6 months. The season usually runs from April to September so it is just long enough.

There are 2 clubs with an Italian background, Marconi Stallions and A.P.I.A Leichhardt Tigers, who will welcome you for trials with open arms if you are as good as you think you are.

NSW Premier League is only semi-pro. Players only make a few hundred dollars, not much.

There are NO limits on international players, as there are not many internationals playing in the league as it is a fairly weak league.

That's not true. If a club wishes to sign a foreign player, they musy sponsor their visa, which would cost the club around 60000.

However foreigners have regularly played in the league. Japanese players like Moriyasu and Ishii came here on working holiday visa's, they played and it was fine.

I do not know of a player at one of the bigger clubs on less than 400 per week. Most earn between 500-700, the better players can earn 1200 + bonuses for wins and goals.

Hi,
I'm Alex and I'm a new member of the forum.
I would like to know some informations but I don't know how to do...
My english is not so clear,so I apologize for any misunderstanding...
My first question is : The NSW Premier League is a professional league?
I mean,the players are professionists?
Then I would like to know if there is a maximum of international players that each team can have. Or there is no limit?
Those questions because
I'm Italian and I'll come in Australia for a year with a Working holiday visa,so
I would like to know if there is the possibility to have a trial with a team of NSW Premier League. I play soccer since I was 5. I saw all the videos of the NSWPL and since I know my abilities I think I can do it. But I don't know if there are some restriction about the number of international players for each team or other stuff.
I hope you understand me and that you can help me.

Thank you everybody anyway.
Alex
