When there's only one Joffa thread on the first page, you know you have a problem.

Looks like some of the forums are hit too... MAN DOWN!

We're trying to keep on top of it, but it's very annoying.

Just throwing it out there for an idea for Mr Web Guy, but maybe there should be a limit on the number of threads you can start, like there's a restriction on the number of posts you can make, within a certain time bracket. I know that would unfortunately curb the prolific postage of Joffa a little, but it would also stop the spam.

Or, you cant start threads until you have 50 posts or something.

what about only being able to post say one minute after your previous post...it will slow things down a little bit.

what about that thing where you have to type in the numbers and stuff when you sign up/register.

Or one of these to start a thread?

Or, facial recognition.

Or what about you have slip me a tenner and I will start a thread for you...

N.B I am currently in negotiation with a certain party who have streaming interests in the NFL...it could be a real money spinner.

TBH some of the spam/spamers are quite funny ;)

This is probably a better idea.

You've already got a 30 second break between posts as is, and all taht will do is slow things up and turn away traffic in peak periods.

How much research have you done? Any serious fans are already watching on gamepass. Any casual fans just watch their handful of games a week on cable/FTA.

These spambots are just dumb. They could at least get the football code right and target their spam to us ;)
