for the last day or so everytime i've come here i've had to log in, even though i always tick the log me in automagically box. not a big deal, however just now when i came here it told me i was logged in as another user (infirmus i think it was), so i logged out and back in as myself.

i have no idea who infirmus is and nobody else ever uses my computer (and even if they did, i've barely moved from it since the last time i was on the site anyway).

just a heads up i guess.

Possibly related... I've literally had this site open for 13 hours now, and Ive been logged out automatically every hour or so and have had to log back in. Strange.

I know of infirmus. I also know that AMFC or aragon said they once came logged in as a mod and as me also once. Ive never been logged in under anyone elses username.

Yeah I've had that cookie problem also. Have to log in every couple of hours. I checked my browser settings and cookies are enabled.

A long time ago I was logged in as Erebus, I refreshed my screen and I was back to me...:-k

I wonder if you are accidentally logged in as someone, if you truly are indeed logged in as them, or it just appears that you are until you try and do something. The mysteries of the world.

You wouldn't actually be logged in as them. It's most likely all related to the awesome rendering issues this forum has.

Re: the actual cookie problem. Quite strange. I've been logged in for... weeks, months, whatever.., and never been logged out once.

The site wouldn't dare abuse its creator.

I couldnt log in this arvo!!!! It said I was but kept present me the log in screen - came back after dinner and all was right again....

I would if I could, but I can't so I won't. It definitely makes for some interesting viewing every now and then though.

We have ideas of what it could be, but it's no small fix and would take weeks to fix (basically re-coding the entire site).

It's really incredibly annoying on dial-up having to refresh the page five or six or ten times to get where you want to go though. As amusing as it is to see a thread on the worst players in the A-League, click on it and be presented by a picture of David Zdrillic completely at random, but as if even the website knows how utterly useless he is aswell.

I feel really quite betrayed. So if it's going to take weeks and weeks to fix...does this mean that it won't be?
