I have a 12 month subscription to the mag. Ever issue seems to be more like an English fourfourtwo mag.
The majority of it is on the premier league with a few oz articles. If i wanted a premier league mag I would just by the normal fourfourtwo mag.
The mag needs to live up to the name. It's better just to go on this website then by the mag. Least on here we actually discuss the domestic game. Rant over.

Unfortunately much of Australia cares more about the prem than Aus football so it is about selling the most issues. People on here generally agree with you I think and I look to see which Aussies are being interview before I buy a copy

I recall seeing some of the staffers talk about this issue. When they put more Australian stuff on the covers and in the mag their readership interest takes a hit.

Yeah, there was chat about this in the recent cover vote thread. Euro snobs are more willing to buy 442 when it is all about, well, Euro snob stuff and sales decline when it is about the domestic game.

It's a shame, but unfortunately, 442 lives of its ability to sell issues.

And if the mag goes under so will the sight so be careful what you wish for vercenzo

I 100% agree, but unfortunately there are too many Eurosnobs out there who will stop buying the magazine if it has too much Australian content.
