i think regular members should be able to post polls.

That privilege was removed due to people spaming the boards with polls, at one stage every thread on the first page was a poll along with many of the threads in subsequent pages. Was an absolute joke.

If you want a poll PM a mod and they can put it up for you.

Not going to happen. It used to be like that, users abused it, we took it away, and then brought it back about a year later and the same thing happened. If we brought it back it would be exactly the same as last time.

As GA said, if you want a poll for something, PM a mod and we'll gladly do it for you.

I wouldnt mind a VIP club of members that can post polls. A lot of polls were really good topics. I do understand why it was removed though.
