Amen to that ! Such a success story..im gagging for the game in newcastle! Hopefully the premiers plate is wrapped up and the jets can get into the finals with a sneaky win What do you think about the FourFourTwo article Wanderers doing the business out west? IF WESTERN Sydney Wanderers win the derby and take home the Premiers Plate on Saturday, red and black football fans won’t be the only ones in ecstasy. Have your say.

pretty amazing stuff for Parramatta even at our worst we will still be bringing quite a bit of money into parramatta which is obviously great for them, it definitely created a bigger sense of community for western sydney which helps everyone in the area Edited by swarth: 20/3/2013 01:49:12 AM

I love reading stories like this, would be brilliant to hear the same thing over the next 10 years about Canberra, Wollongong, Townesville, Hobart/Launceston and Geelong. Absolutely brilliant stuff and bring on Saturday - can't wait to eat at my favourite restaurant, the Vietnamese one just up from Westfield, before the match and sip a few bevvys at a couple of great pubs nearby.

yeah we always go for a bite to eat then to the game.......it's funny to see all the reasturant patrons looking out the window, getting up and leaving their seats to see what the noise and commotion is when the RBB march throiugh the centre of parramatta....it's an awesome spectacle.........

Fantastic to read this article - I only wish some day my own and other clubs can take a leaf out of WSW book!
Community & fan engagement from AU is pretty much non-existent.

Its quite an extraordinary rise. Unprecedented in the first ever season.
The true test of community backing will be when they spend a bad season or two at the foot of the table...every clubs been through it and they will have their turn no doubt.

Everybody in Newcastle is talking about the up coming game against WSW. It's the hottest ticket in town. Over 6000 seats already sold to the block. You guys are truly amazing. Hope it won't be a dead rubber for the Jets by next week .

Community & fan engagement from AU is pretty much non-existent. i hope community engagement improves for every club, it seems to have brought Parramatta alive, while i never have been to an NRL or AFL match i doubt that the match day experience would be as good which means less money spent and the great thing about that is football will be the more lucrative option to support purely because the match day experience would bring in more money

Stayed at the Novatel Parramatta back in December when Adelaide had their big lost and speaking to a staff member in the lobby I asked do the RBB do this every game the pre and post game march through church street and in her best Macho Man Randy Savage impersonation just said
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
seeing that march basically final nail in the coffin to my ingnorance about a second sydney team. Your here to stay.
What should be said most and I hope the rest of the Football community ALWAYS ALWAYS REMEMBER THIS is this is a win for the fans. NO TO ANZ NO TO ANZ NO TO ANZ.

I don't think penrith has the market fir a professional football team and that an update to his map could have wollongong, instead of penrith (green area). Even though technically not part of the sydney region. Edited by sobkowski: 20/3/2013 01:53:29 PM Although I support a South Coast team being admitted to the League I find it difficult to accept that Western Sydney with a population of 7 times that of the South Coast that will grow by another 1 million population over the next 20+ years should be limited to one club. The last thing we need in our competition is mega clubs. We need instead many more opportunities for young players which means more clubs in locations that can sustain them whether they be in the big cities or the regions.

as a member of MVFC i have to congratulate the WSW managment, team and there supporters well done on what you have been able to acheive in such a short amount of time. by far you had the best away support at AAMI Park this year and i think the FFA is rubbing its hands with glee and hoping for WSW vs MVFC grand final, i can tell you now that this would be fantastic and i would be the first one to book my ticket along with 10,000 + mvfc supporters. Again my hat off to the WSW onwards to bigger and better things.

Liverpool-Campbelltown South West Sydney team would be nice. Or St George...\:d/

Think it was some former NSW Premier who said the state goes well when the Parramatta Eels are doing well. Just replace them with WSW

See how much better football is?
NRL with all it's druggos and rapists couldnt do this, only the world game.
Hats off to the Wanderers, even from an SFC fan my god we have needed you in the comp.
Now time to slowly claim dominance over all the other shitty sports in australia!

South Western Sydney team definitely needed ! It's such a huge area ! The thing is Sydney is huge, the reason Sydney FC done bad with crowds is the parking charge $20 and the parking fines $150 at the games ontop of the tickets and it is so hard to get to ! I live in Ryde and have to go through city, no matter when I leave it takes ages to get there (to Sydney FC). Two more teams eventually in Sydney South West Sydney and Northern Beaches Brookvale or North West / Hills district.

I reckon there should be a Wollongong team before another Sydney team. Also WSW should be very careful not to expand too fast and ignore their supporter base. Stay at Parra stadium, put more seats there if they have to, but never move to Homebush. GF only exception. Football specific stadiums only.
re: parking, why not leave the car at home? Sydney fc tickets include free public transport, including shuttle busses to/from central. The bus rides with football fans are alot of fun in themselves.

I will share my experience of working with a website design agency for my business. I chose an agency specializing in UX/UI design and development. Together we created a modern and functional website that met all my requirements. The process was perfectly structured: from concept discussion to final implementation. I recommend it to anyone looking for a professional solution for their online presence.
