Close sources have indicated that Mat Ryan will travel to England and spend a week training with the Fulham reserve team after this weekend's Grand Final.

Fulham are said to be interested in the signing the Mariner on a long term deal, and will take the role as understudy to Mark Schwarzer or understudy to Schwarzer's successor if a deal on the current Fulham no. 1 is not reached.

Such a shame when you think about it, easily the 2nd best keeper in our league but will most likely be second or third choice at a European club

Danny Vukovic has also scored a trial with Fulham. Vukovic will be training with the club starting tomorrow.

It is believed that Mat Ryan will fly out to trial with Fulham and a number of other teams in England starting at the beginning of next month after the Asian Champions League group stage is completed.
