Yeah really rated him, really wanted any team, if not the jets, to keep him in the a league. Was a good leader from the back and good talker and organiser. I really don't mind him as a cheapish option and could really see him staying a few years if he comes back. Thought he might of kicked on to championship level in the uk though after leaving the fury.

He was a class act. Good, honest, clean defender. Knew his job and everyone elses, and just did it.

He was one of the best players to have donned the white and green in those two seasons.

A full proper quality defender, no frills no bullshit player.

Hope he has been keeping his fitness etc up over the past few years.

Will definitely fill that gap left by NTS (and not in a hoofy dodgy way).

Wiki has him as playing 55 odd League 1 and 2 games since the end of the Fury, so that's as many as 2 a-league seasons if true. Fitness is probably not a big problem.

Hope this one's true...

That'll do then. Would love him at Perth if Newy doesn't work out.

We're having problems at the back, with Thwaite rumoured to be on his way to the US.

Hughes and Kisnorbo would be great pick ups for us.
