Best for Corey would be either CCM or Perth IMO, would get decent first team action at both clubs with coaches who have good track records developing youth (don't forget Perth have Naven as an assitant, who's work with the Glory youth has produced a lot of genuine talent for other clubs :P)

Would like to see him at Brisbane. Mulvey seems to do great with young guys and playing alongside bes and broich can only be great for your game.

Yeah I don't know. We can't guarantee him first team action but if he's good enough can't he push into the first team anyway? I never understood players being 'guaranteed' first team action if your good-you'll play.

When Nijland was playing in some instances he was like a second striker, so I think he can force his way into the Starting 11 with Bes. Something like this:

What I meant was from his perspective, would you join a team where the position you want to play is currently filled with one of the league's best strikers and former golden boot winner?

you guys have the best striker in the league in joel griffiths. you then have adp playing either beside him or behind him. plus you have chianese, mallia & powell (i assume you still have all of them?) as your three young strikers to compliment two of the best players in the entire league.

another young striker should be the last thing on your guys minds

he's also not a cheap local like the other three. your resources (aka the salary cap) are needed elsewhere.

I'd happily get rid of Griffiths, Mallia and Chianese to bring in young more promising strikers like Gameiro, Urosevski and also to make room for proper wingers.
While he didn't score much I'd keep Powell because I think he was by far our best striker in terms of getting Del Piero and therefore us into the game by doing all the hard work the others neglected. Apart from the game against Wellington Griffiths was a disappointment.
