I'm pretty bored at work at the moment so just want to know has anyone got the history behind this claim. Got a quick online quote and we are talking almost $20K worth of stickers. Please explain.

I've been wanting to know why Girt and Notor hate each other that rivals the North Koreans hate for the United States. From what I think I know it stems back to the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. I think given that notor and girt give little jabs at each other quite often now-a-days in AF, we deserve to know.

Joffa made a comment about a priest/minister (IIRC, not 100% sure) that he deleted quickly in an older thread... (IIRC)

Matt Morris came to visit me in Sydney last week. He had bags full of 250,000 stickers.

Girt's version is sonething along the lines of Matt finding out about Girt having breakfast with an Arch Bishop in Douth Africa during the world cup and then made his every effort to screw over Girt's plans, stopping the production and causing Girt to lose money from his own pocket
im 100% sure that's not the exact story, im just vaigly recalling some vaige messages from Girt.

Sorry, typing on my phone, so lots of typos but Girt seemed quite certain that Matt did it because of Girts connections to some form of religious organisation.
cbf to go find the messages and it's not my business so i don't reallyyyy care

I don't think anyone on here would be surprised if Notorganic went "I'm not letting a religious organisation have anything to do with this!" and subsequently sabotaged Girt's attempt to get funding for this.

The start of it was Notor taking the piss out of Girt's claims of hob-nobbing during the world cup - and his later talk of inside knowledge during the 2022 bidding - his absolute conviction that we would have had it in the bag, because we had the numbers, except the voting didn't go as expected, and Qatar cheated, but we had the numbers...
I've no idea what happened to blow the sticker campaign though - would love to know.
As I've said elsewhere - if Notor was capable of single-handedly bringing the scheme down, it can't have been on the strongest footing to begin with.

Would also love to know, but surely it'll be one of those 'three sides to the story' things.

Maybe you guys should ask the people girt went to South Africa with about what happened in South Africa, and maybe if they would travel with him again?

I would post the pm that Girt sent me when the stickers thing was happening - I wanted to write a positive blog about it and build a bit more momentum around the campaign... I would post it, but last time I did it got deleted. Apparently posting a PM that was sent with the expectation of it being published is somehow a betrayal of privacy.
As for the stickers failing because of me, your guesses are as good as mine. I put a whole bunch of my own money into the same campaign, so I was very disappointed that Girt turned out to be a completely delusional, irrational, self - important, homophobic douchenozzle.
