I think you may be right Troy.I can't believe the FFA supports this chaotic disruptive process.It's difficult to explain to an 8 or 9 yo why you cannot play for your teams colours next year .The Team your father or grandfather played for and you played for this year but you son or daughter are excluded next year ....seriously why not start a new competition with new teams without history & these can represent a new beginning

Its actually quite tragic.....the ffv is being duplicitous.....and naïve club administrators are making flawed decisions by not taking such an important issue to their members to vote.

Besides, the outcome will be that this model will be withdrawn, they will not have enough clubs applying and or the legal case will halt the rollout.

The ones that will suffer will be the committee members that pushed this model onto their club.....they will not survive the next election....

As a member of a club that intends to submit an application, I can categorically say that the process is flawed, with the FFV bending the rules and turning its back on what it is supposed to represent, the football community!!
The NPL is purportedly a league of the highest integrity run by clubs with transparent governance that have a community engagement model in place.
Have a look at FC Bulleen Lions, which at current has no governance, is run on the self interest of 1 person who hides behind the skirt of his wife, who is the social club president. There has been no vote by 900 families of registered players, there has been no vote by Social Club members, they have disenfranchised their own community, and the local football community see them as arrogant.

The FFV is looking at them as a role model club!!!!! Desperation I think by the FFV as the reality is OUR club definitely does not tick all the boxes.

The process is flawed and the selections will be based on whoever is left in the pot. How that is a league of credibility where all the best players will be is beyond comprehension!!!!

The FFV is missing the point here and showing a great level of disrespect to the football community, all its history, tradition and blood, sweat and tears of volunteers that built clubs from the ground up.

Tim FRAMPTON was present at the meeting where he saw and heard the mood of a club of 900 that are opposed to their clubs application, he heard that there has been no vote at any level, and yet he colludes with the club out of nothing else but desperation.

If that is where this is heading, sit back and wait for the train wreck that is coming!!!!!!!
