Was hoping the people in this forum would have had experience in this before. As the season wraps up my local club is looking forwards for us to expand in the new year, so grants will be essential in helping build better infrastructure and help subsidies the costs related to building up the club. So I was wondering what Grants clubs have used in the past and what grants you may know of which we could look at using.

Thank you all in advance, and I'm sure there would be others in a similar position looking to build their clubs resources, so hopefully this can act as a directory of what resources opportunities exist.

I think it all depends on your council and your association, and whether any of those would have any grant system in place. They're your first port of call. Outside of that, contact your state member of parliament, depending on the amount, with a bit of campaigning and council approval, you should be able to get something off them as well, if they see it in the wider interests of the community. I think be realistic about what you want. Eg, pitch resurfacing or lighting will benefit all, a club house to be used exclusively by your club to generate profits might be a stretch. What are u after?
