Personally I dont care for twitter, its the internet's way of retaining classism, especially now anyone can get their news from anywhere. People are too insecure and yearn for structure in society as a result things such as gossip mags still exist, hearing the latest news from the Royal family and people they have nothing to do with now exist on twitter and Facebook

so in other words, you dont even know what you're talking about as you havent even checked twitter or learned the proper history of this woman's presence there

how is this forum or any other social media platform any different in the regard you refer to as classism?

lulz those that hate on Twitter don't use it properly.

The Australian Football scene is huge on Twitter. And it did so on its own without the corporations pushing it. They only jumped on because it was getting used massively during games by viewers at home.

My theory was that since mainstream media never gave football the time of day, fans of the game went "underground" and created their own niche and following in that domain.
Now all the other sports are trying to jump on the Twitter bandwagon.
