Edited by melbourne_terrace: 23/4/2014 10:29:20 PM You do know you can download the proper players from the Don Bradman Cricket Academy. Also Big Ant couldnt use the proper kits and all because Ashes 2013 had the rights and that turned out to be a disaster of a game. liverpoolfan2010 wrote:zimbos_05 wrote:Hahaha. Don Bradman Cricket is a video game that was released in March for those unaware. It was produced by Big Ant Studios. Obviously not in the high budget brackets as EA and the like so they have David Basheer and some other guy as the commentators. They dont say much at all. Basheer does the pitch report and gives a dumb comment every now and again. The other guy just says, "one run." "Thats two more to the total." "What do you thin David."
Nice game, but i generally tend to have the volume pretty low. Plus im used to tuning Basheer out when he does football commentary so its the same here. Barely even notice him. at least 1 other person has the game on the forum  Hahaha, i was thinking of a thread for it, but then realised i would be the only one. apparently not. if you got the 360 version let me know will give you a game although my batting is still a bit on the poor side lol

Nice game, but i generally tend to have the volume pretty low. Plus im used to tuning Basheer out when he does football commentary so its the same here. Barely even notice him. Thinking about picking it up. Worth it? Apart from the commentary, its a lot better than some of the older versions that came up. The Metal case is quite mint. Like the new career mode. Its not really the time of game where you can just swing and everything is six or four. Really need to build up a bit. Will admit that the AI is a bit dumb at time, often part timers are bowling. The good thing about it is that Big Ant who make the game are quiet avid on listening to players and fans and trying to improve it. Planet Cricket Forums is where a lot of the talk takes place. They quiet good at listening to players. They released a patch recently that helps with batting and that. Ill admit there are some things you look at and think, "what the heck, bullcrap" Like fielders taking spectacular catches and running a million miles an hour to get to a catch, whilst the ball just stalls in the air. But I must say, a much bigger improvement from previous versions. No longer just giggle and hit.

I think he's referring to Basheer's penchant for the Tony Greigism or the Brenton Speedism. You know, describing anything that they can see except the actual match.
