Anyone seen any good stage productions recently?

Not recently. Petty keen to get a season pass for the Riverside in Parramatta though. I really, really enjoy the theatre (not musicals though). Used to see a fair few at Belvoir theatre.

Saw some good karaoke at the local pub last week.

Saw Phantom of the Opera, Les Mis and the Lion King in London at the beginning of the year. There were really fantastic, would love to see some of the productions over here as well. I'm pretty sure Wicked is coming to Brisbane soonish..

Riverside are doing King Monkey (Journey to the West) later this year. so going to this!

I saw we will rock you back when it was at Star City, Awesome and one of my favourites. I'm hoping that they do War of the Worlds again too, I missed it last time and really need to see a 30 foot tall Martian with a Heat ray!

The Mrs and I love going to the theatre!

Musicals/plays I've seen:
- Hairspray (Star City Sydney)
- Star Wars Burlesque (Civic Theatre Newcastle)
- Jersey Boys (Princess Theatre Melbourne)
- Sound of Music by local performing arts high school (Civic Theatre Newcastle)

Jersey Boys was easily the standout. It was just amazing. So keen for the movie coming out soon.

The high school doing Sound of Music was so, so much better than I expected it to be.

Star Wars Burlesque was hilarious and awesome!

Hairspray was almost identical to the movie, it was great!

Pretty keen to see Les Mis some time in my life, loved the movie.

Fairly sure the Mrs has secretly gotten us tickets to The Lion King too.
