Just a thread where we can all pop ideas for articles and stories that might be worth FFT chasing up.
For example, I'd love to see an interview with Simon Colosimo on him time in India.

Awesome thread.
I'd like to see another Ljubo article, because I miss the guy so much and want to hear what he's been up to the last few years and how he feels about Ange, the new look Socceroos, the A-League and it's progress/non-progress since Ljubo last played in it, etc. Ljubo is incredibly responsive on his facebook - I can't imagine it's hard to at least attempt to make contact with him about it.
An interview with Danny Allsopp could be pretty good - I was at the first game of the season and saw the club interview him pre-game and he predicted MV would win by a bit, which they did, so it'd be interesting to hear his views on Victory this season and how the league has come since he was in it etc.
I'd love for a joint interview with Craig Moore and Danny Tiatto to happen - there could be some great insights into Roar pre-Ange and after they left, and those two guys I just love in general. They'd probably give some super insights into playing overseas, and the Socceroos before and now too.

Its probably already been done, but I would like to see an article on ECU Joondalup in WA and why they are so good at producing great young talent.

Weekly segment with an ex-player talking about his old club's chances?

Would love to get more of an insight into how the FFA works, hear from those that aren't just De Bohun, Gallop or Technical Director roles. I am always one of the first to really rag on the FFA when they fuck up or otherwise, but I would like to hear the side of the story that make me understand (and stop me from being a skeptical kunt). -PB

Fantastic thread.
Personally I'd like more investigative journalism done on player signings.
Has anyone ever really been signed off a DVD?
Is a player recommendation really all it takes? (Petkovic getting his mate a job at SFC).
Where do coaches even START looking to end up with a Hungarian on a 2-year loan, for example. What's the search process there?

I'd love some "where are they now stories" ie Danny Allsopp
I'd also love some grass roots stories, positives that are happening out their in Football land ie. Ballarat Football stadium and the relationships between football, the local council, FFA and various Governments that brought this stadium into existence.
Maybe even some articles on the people that make the game strong. ref's, coaches(all levels)volunteers etc...
Some follow up stories on the FFA Cup and what it means to clubs and how they're going to spend their cash/prizemoney.'
Stories on how the FFA is spending money on grass roots./football.
More A-League, W-League and NYL

More articles on the history of Australian football. Particularly the period post WW2 period before the NSL started.

Hey Kev, would appreciate a nice feature article on Kenny Lowe's football story. Pretty interesting story when a guy who doesn't play the way most Australians want to see takes a side to the top of the league after being written off.

I tried giving Griffin the benefit of the doubt but as I've said multiple times, it's like his "articles" are written on twitter, with each player rating restricted to a certain amount of characters. And he uses the phrases "solid" and "does his job" about 6 times in every article. Not a fan of his work, hey.

And I don't mean to offend a former pro-player, but he's not even watching the bloody games. Hersi touched the ball twice yesterday and pulled a reasonable score. Griffiths was a colossus on the pitch and didn't get close to Glory's best player according to Griff

Problem is being able to do every game... I know I can't watch every game (sober) and write an article on it afterwards.
