Iran play Japan at Sydney in Quarter Final, and beat them

Iran beat whoever they play in the Newcastle semi

Iran and Australia in Sydney in the final

Plenty of match ups with some history behind them there. Doesn't need any particularly unlikely results to go that way, either.

Im surprised more don't prefer an Aus v Iran final - will be mental!

A couple of surprises I think may happen: Saudi to the quarters over Uzbeki, China to the semis over South :shock:

would only want the saudis to play us in the final rounds if al shamrani was playing so he could get booed, but alas would love them to get knocked out in the group stage

Happy enough to meet them in the semis and japan in the final. But yeah iran in the final would be epic, also they would have to beat japan in the semi.
