Last night he scored his 20th goal of the NPL season. Rumours during the week, that one HAL club had approached him, but surely the guy is getting a professional deal after this.
If he scores 6 goals in his last 7 matches, he'll have broken Tolgay Ozbey's record of 25 in a season.

Will probably get snapped up at the Wanderers. Why? He was a fairly average player that no major contributions. He did a job and nothing more, was exceptionally mediocre. Hardly a big loss and we should probably be aiming higher. He didn't get much chance to prove himself at Sydney. His entire playing time was spent covering for Del Piero's failings. The function he was given in the system didn't really give him a chance to show his skills as a forward. All he could do was control the ball and wait for the non-existent support to arrive. Which he did quite well. Given a role in a properly functioning team he'd probably be a good pick up for anyone in the league.

I like RedKat was also massively underwhelmed. Nothing against him though, he's doing well at the moment so maybe it's time to step up.

He 'spent covering for Del Piero's failings', interesting, I certainly did it see it that way, I just thought he was an average player & shows the gap between NPL to A-League.

Wellington beat Fiji 2-1. Not sure if Powell played? I know he certainly didn't get on the scoresheet if he did.
