Which could mean they could be released from contracts.
Tony Rallis mentioned up to six players could be looking for a way out.
Gonna go with:
Brattan Theo Henrique
Not sure on the others.

Hardly surprising.
I'm thinking at least one CB will go.

Feel your pain. I'd feel sorry for guys if you lost Clut and Borrello.
Maybe not so much if they came to us 8-[

Slippery Fish would be a good pick up for most A-League clubs.

Heineken wrote:Slippery Fish would be a good pick up for most A-League clubs. I disagree tbh. I just get so frustrated by the guy. His inconsistency slays me. This is the list of Roar players from the Contracts Thread: Quote:2015/16 Brandon Borrello* Daniel Bowles Devante Clut Henrique (V) Jack Hingert Steven Luštica Jade North Jean Carlo Solórzano (V) Shane Stefanutto Patrick Theodore* Jamie Young 2016/17 Luke Brattan Thomas Broich (V) (M) Luke DeVere James Donachie Jamie Maclaren Matt McKay (M) Dimitri Petratos Jerome Polenz (V) Michael Theo
2017/18 Corey Brown Would take Borello, North, Clut, Brattan, Broich, DeVere, Maclaren, McKay, Brown in an instant at the Jerks tbh.

He's gotta be bloody close if not. Would still be a foreigner for the acl though, I'd imagine.

I'm only speculating but seeing as JA wants Thwaite and given the number of CB's we have it would make sense that someone wants out from that position. (Unless JA intends to use Thwaite as a DM). pv4 wrote: Would take Borello, North, Clut, Brattan, Broich, DeVere, Maclaren, McKay, Brown in an instant at the Jerks tbh.
I would personally pay for Brown's airfare to Newcastle right now if I was given the opportunity. Yes he showed promise in an ACL game three years ago but based on his performances last season he would be close to the worst player in the A-league. If you don't believe me just have a look at the goals we conceded when he played and you'll see why.

He'll be cover for the perpetually injured LDV/Olyroos absence of Donks. The more I think about it the more sense that makes. He will be like our version of Wilko for the 'roos.

The whole Brattan wants to go to Victory thing is literally a troll some idiot made up on here. Its completely untrue afaik. Will be pretty annoyed his drinking money is running dry though.
Its cute how desperately Vuck fans desire our players. Cant develop your own?

Apparently we trialled, and were very close to signing him, a couple of years back. Maybe I'll have to reassess my views on him by watching him closer. Jerks have a distinct lack of cover at wide back atm so if we were able to easily fit him in whatever we have remaining with the cap, I imagine it can't hurt to have him around. What's his injury record like?

I feel it would be more fringe players rather than first team or the ones that are not 100% on board.
But the longer they are not payed the more likely more will want to up and leave.
I just want some new owners......

Can't see devere as only being signed recently and recovering from injury. donachie is more likely to want to go overseas than another a league club given his age with most the league starting already.

Expect half the Brisbane squad to be playing in blue by the end of the match.

What's his injury record like? You guys never trialled him but were very close to signing him from us a couple of years ago however we managed to convince him to stay in basically the 24th hour. Unfortunately for us Stead and the other clowns at the club gave him a new 3 year deal in Feb. :( To my knowledge his injury record is perfectly fine. His big problem is his positioning and the awareness of opposition players around him. He loves to push forward and is sometimes very casual when it comes to tracking back. However he just completely loses sight of the guy he is marking and time and time again they'll sneak through on either side of him. He also continually fails to shut down crosses/shots. Last year was a complete clusterfuck for us; some players have obviously started to decline with age and there were some individual howlers but Brown is the only guy in the squad who I would point out for being directly at fault for 10 -15 goals in the Aleague/ACL, if he's not on the park we don't concede them.
