What do you guys think of this situation? With Britain exiting the EU and Russia having massive trade deals with the EU, will the situation cause Russia's currency to default as has been predicted by certain individuals?

I think it has the potential to actually help Russia's economy. With the UK being one of the major players pushing for the EU's trade embargos to remain against Russia, whilst other nations are wanting to lift them, this has the potential to see the embargos lifted which will help Russia.

yes, it could help those in the EU who want to drop sanctions on Russia....only thing is, if USA keep sanctions on Russia, then those EU companies that does any business in USA (use a USA bank to move money) will be breaking USA sanctions law

there a average of 3 to 4 Ukraine soldiers a day being killed, i don't see USA ending sanctions any time soon

Why would a UK exit from the EU affect Russian trade deals with the EU?

UK is the 5th biggest economy in the world, so obviously them leaving the EU is going to affect the viability and productiveness of any trade deal.

I'm just curious if because of it, it'll cause Russia to inch closer to their apparently inevitable default.

No it won't - the EU still has all its trade deals with 3rd parties in place.

Russia is also under sanctions as it is anyway....
