Your name is generating a lot of attention on the Mod panel. You've already had one unofficial warning from another Mod.
This is an official warning. Think of it like frequent flyers for incessant trolling and facetious comments. 
Start to engage constructively on the forum, or you are on the way to a permanent holiday from it, champ.   

It appears that this is the new normal.  The condescension in the warning is par for the course.

What an egg. Decentric  letting power get to his head. But doesnt suprise me since he was hated on every damn forum he was on. Even the 4x4 one 

The wording had been changed prior to reading this Feedback.

In the Save The Forum thread, where the trends  will be posted here soon, as all Mods peruse the trends, 75% of members raised in Feedback that trolling and baiting should be dealt with more heavy handedly. 

Those that wanted more banter, a less sanitised forum and more 'conflict', comprised 25%.

It may be construed from member led feedback that the 25 % are a more vocal  minority, than the 75% who are a more silent majority.

If the Mod panel conduct information seeking threads from members, it is important the feedback is listened to and acted upon on in the interests of democracy.

Occasionally, some names appear frequently in complaints on the Mod panel. Mod protocol as delineated by KA is that there are democratic discussions that occur amongst the Mod panel to determine actions on transgressors of forum rules.

Action has been taken on Libel.

If you, or any other members, have any concerns in the future, report to any of the current six active Mods, Paladisious, Bowden, Stifler's Mom, McJules, Joyful Penguin or me.

Or report a particular  post in the mechanism at the bottom of the page. It goes to the Mod panel.

Sometimes a  more detailed explanation is needed, which means contacting one of the aforementioned specific Mods via a Message at the bottom of the home page. It is often a problem that Mods cannot be everywhere. Unless issues are reported we don't always know about them. 

Also, in response to the Save The Forum thread, you setting up a tactics thread,  is partially addressing the concerns of a significant number of forum members who expressed they wanted more tactical and technical content in football.

If you can also elicit some highly trained football coaches such as Melbourne Terrace and New Signing, plus tactically minded members like Quickflick and Sports Addict too,  your thread could help address this issue.

Just so there is clarity the definition of facetious is below

It is a collaborative approach from the Mod panel, Walnuts.

Habitual transgressors and transgressions are discussed on the panel.

A consensus is usually reached before undertaking courses of action. KA also oversees actions. We strive to be consistent and fair.

Warnings are given to repeat offenders. There is a consensus of opinion.

Whether you contact  Pala, McJules, Bowden, Stifler's Mom, Joyful Penguin or me, the action taken will be similar - as it should be. We seek each other's advice and perceptions, particularly the newer mods.

To be pedantic, I've interpreted  facetious as 'sarcastically humourous' too.

In the demeanour of  said recidivist transgressor, all posts were either verging on trolling, baiting, sarcasm or deemed  facetious, as I understand the definition of the last word.

Said recidivist transgressor who was officially warned, was upsetting a lot of regular posters. To the best of my current knowledge, he was the only person behaving like this on a regular basis on the  forum.

He had already been warned by another Mod. He chose to ignore his warning.

So we're at the point where consistently sarcastic and facetious posters deserve to be banned? Are you guys trying to kill whats left of the forum? You're delusional if you think that removing all the "trolling" and sanitising the forum will bring people back. Forums thrive on argument and characters that people love to hate. 

What we're heading towards now is everyone circlejerking about how positive everything is, with no room for disagreement.

I don't think banning people for sadistic humour or facetious posts is a good idea and it definitely won't save this forum Quite the opposite.

Its decentric.  He wants to sanitize the forum into his image.  Were unless you're a licence coach he doesnt want to hear your opinion . 

As sure as night follows day, the predicted megalomaniacal behaviour rears it's ugly head and will probably all but kill this forum.

Yep.  Came in throwing his weight around, was called on it, admonished and publicly apologised to the forum.  6 or 7 days later has come in with his patronising, sanctimonious, subjective bullshit judgments on what and what isn't allowed commentary and is back throwing his weight around.
