+xThis thread comprises all aspects of the domestic scene. Sheffield Shield and One Day Cup as it is now interspersed with its red ball mate. I recall when the two formats were combined years ago and it worked then. The Shield game during the week and the One Dayers on the weekend.. usually Sunday.. https://www.cricket.com.au/news/marsh-one-day-cup-squads-week-one-fixtures-broadcast-victoria-nsw-queensland-tasmania/2019-09-17Are the Marsh family now sponsoring cricket?

Just came thru on the wire. Bit slow on the uptake. The Bulls have named the following squad for their opening two List A matches: Jimmy Peirson (c), Xavier Bartlett, Joe Burns, Max Bryant, Cameron Gannon, Sam Heazlett, Charlie Hemphrey, Matthew Kuhnemann, Marnus Labuschagne, Michael Neser, Matt Renshaw, Billy Stanlake, Mark Steketee, Jack Wildermuth.
Matt Renshaw has to own every innings of every format this spring/summer to remind the selectors of his ability. Sam Heazlett is another talented batsman that had a good 2018 List A (see below) but faltered in the Shield. Needs a lift in his red ball game to be on CA radar once again. Reckon the Bulls have the two best potential all rounders in the country in Jack Wildermuth and Mike Neser. blob: https://www.cricket.com.au/5074cb84-131e-4b62-b7f9-aeb2025560ed

Please elaborate Paddles. 1 If you click reply below that image, it will you show the code I used to do it. Then my earlier post will make sense. I am unable to write out the code to you on the forum with the software looking for an image. 2 Alternatively if you click Insert, then IF code, you can scroll down to image. 3 You put the url you want displayed between the code. [sun]www.fotwhever.com/t.jpg[/sun]. Replace sun with img.

The Warriors have named a strong 13-man squad for their opening two List A. matches in Perth. Omitted are Mitch Marsh and Jason Behrendorff: Ashton Turner (c), Cameron Bancroft, Ashton Agar, Hilton Cartwright, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Cameron Green, Matt Kelly, Shaun Marsh, Josh Philippe, Jhye Richardson, D'Arcy Short, Marcus Stoinis, Andrew Tye.
I am excited by two of their next gen..Josh Philippe and Cameron Green. Unless I am a bad judge these two will play both formats for their country. Matt Kelly is maturing into an excellent bowler too. Jhye Richardson returns.. for mine our most promising quick in past decade.
CA contracts: Nathan Coulter-Nile, Shaun Marsh, Jhye Richardson, Marcus Stoinis. WA contracts: Ashton Agar, Cameron Bancroft, Jason Behrendorff, Jake Carder, Hilton Cartwright, Cameron Green, Liam Guthrie, Aaron Hardie, Josh Inglis, Matthew Kelly, Simon Mackin, Mitch Marsh, David Moody, Joel Paris, Josh Philippe, D'arcy Short, Ashton Turner, Andrew Tye, Sam Whiteman. Rookies: Sam Fanning, Jayden Goodwin, Bradley Hope, Lance Morris, Matthew Spoors.
Ashton Agar probably feels hard done losing his CA contract. I guess if you are not playing then it does make sense. He needs an injury-free year to push his national claims. Same goes for Behrendorff. Glad that keeper Sam Whiteman is still part of the Warriors setup after missing almost two seasons with a similar finger injury that floored our skipper Tim Paine.

Phillipe and M.Kelly were the standouts for me, Stoinis the 6-hitting machine not withstanding. Maxwell played a pretty sensible innings.Finch was looking good early. Pucovski never looked comfortable. Let’s hope W.A can keep the momentum.

I only wish commentators used the French pronunciation of his name ..Phil-eep. If Aussies are to win the T20 World Cup we have to bowl better than this. Boland, Stoinis, Sutherland and Richardson were far too short. Richardson really no excuse as it was his home track.

The Blues take on the Bulls this morning. Waiting half the day for 50 over pyjama cricket is not worth it so glad this is a day game at least.

Stoinis has only ever been average inmho, although he can occasionally get you the breakthrough wicket

There was a half-decent crowd with lots of kids at the waca for the first half yesterday, but then most went home at the tea-break - other than the members.

Not sure Blues have sufficient runs. Good knocks by Edwards, Henriques and Bertus on his List A debut. Stanlake the pick of the Bulls quicks.
