Personally, I would prefer it if MC won this, mainly because I prefer it when a team wins the double. Less debate over who the best side of the year was. If I were a betting man, my money would be on WU to win this one though. They are just too strong at the back and Young has been in some seriously good form this finals series. If it comes down to pens, WU will win for sure. If WU does win it, I'll be a little torn though. I dislike WU immensely, however I do like Aloisi and it would be great to see him finally achieve some success as a coach.

It depends on whether the WU of the latter part of the season comes out to play or the WU of last Saturday night comes out to play. But they do defend very well and I can’t see the likes of McLaren getting many chances. Got a feeling the game could be decided by a set piece goal or penalties.

Real prediction: 1-1 draw, then City score the decisive goal in extra time Cursed prediction: 1-0 Western. City dominates the game but can't score. A Tom Glover fumble causes the deciding goal+xPersonally, I would prefer it if MC won this, mainly because I prefer it when a team wins the double. Less debate over who the best side of the year was. Aloisi has done surprisingly well this season and has turned WU around after last season's inconsistent performance, but I would rather the premiers win it.

The crowd will be 14,347.
City have no fans so they'll get a few more thousand theatre goers rock up. Western United obviously have no fans so they'll have an extra 1,500-2000 theatregoers show up.
Definitely no more than 15,000.

Honestly the only good result would be having the match abandoned.
Seriously though, If it's ends in the 90 it'll be Western United, 120 it'll be City. Penalties and United win it.
Wouldn't be surprised if the referee decides it though, seems to be the theme.
It could actually be an epic match. It really needs to be simply due to the lack of atmosphere.
Personally I actually really like John Aloisi, love the way he talks about the game and I think he's been hard done by (to an extent) in the past, I will hope United win because of him.

I'm a Jets fan, City member, and I'll be there not really supporting either team tbh. I think the crowd will be surprisingly decent, I know a fair few casuals who will be attending.

ALL AbuDabi Doo needs to do is bring all their thousands of paid up members, plus the thousands of neutrals who are bound to turn up, should be 30k easy.

Based purely on the seats Ticketek is currently offering, it looks like the bottom tier is mostly sold out, and they're offering tickets to the top tier now.

If the GF doesn't sell out, would this be the first time in A-League history ??
And I don't mean w-league grand finals.

Short version: I grew up in Newcastle's catchment area, lived overseas for a decade, now find myself in Melbourne and watch the team all my mates support. It was cheaper to get a membership. Let me stress I don't support City!

Gonna watch this. I always watch the GF.
Today, I am going to change my instinctive negative bias and instead of just booing one team raucoulsy, I am going to support John Aloisi and his Brisbane side!
COY um Westie Stripers!

Getting told there's not much publicity around. Do fox sports news even mention A League these days. I think a lot of people have it on as background noise so there's some awareness.
Same for All stars game with lots of people saying they didn't see it advertised. I think a lot in the over 60 bracket just don't have social media where it's heavily advertised these days.
In saying that I wish people who were interested in football would actually seek out the info. Like those saying Arzani should be picked for Roos squad....

Especially considering there are several Socceroos playing.
