got to hand it to the guy, he's been a true professional his whole career. Has consistently played wherever he has gone and did a good job against Peru.

Can be a bit of a defender discussion thread. I've gone through Wright's international career and can't exactly pinpoint where he got offside with so many. It's true he had some sluggish displays mostly against England and Brazil. I'm not going to touch the list now but perhaps Jordan away was one. I think the Confed Cup was rough. I realised the other day he actually rose the occasion against both Honduras and Peru which is no mean feat. He actually didn't feature for the majority of the 2018 3rd round. That was mostly Spiranovic.

Degenek has the big league experience.

Rowles is shining.

It's a tricky call for the France game with view to the other two games.

If Souttar and Rowles have recovered from their injuries and are confident they should start in the first game but Wright could step in if either not ready or reinjure  themselves. He surpassed expectations in the two sudden death qualifying games

I would think one of Souttar or Rowles to start the first game alongside Wright with the other two come.in the second game.

Ideally both would be fit to come in during the final game.

Best thing about this WCUP is short time between first 2 games of 3 days. Should mean more squad rotation with more players getting game time. Rowles, Souttar, Degenek and Wright should all get minutes
