Jealous of my mate's trip he is on at the moment. He has been to:
Liverpool v Tottenham Man City v whoever they played the same weekend Crystal Palace the same weekend Real Madrid (v Alaves?) Another game in Spain, can't remember who it was Juventus v Salernitana Wimbledon tour Anfield tour Juventus tour San Siro tour Ajax tour About to do Roland Garros for a couple days And then off to do the first week of Euros (only game I can remember he is doing is Italy v Albania as the last game before he comes back)
My dream games if I went to travel, would be to go and watch Catania, Chelsea and possibly Juventus. Would love to do an Asian Cup again / see Australia win a major trophy.

+xNot having the A League comp being played with byes. to add, not enough Clubs large enough comp, no P/R are my struggles getting into it fellas as much as I luv the game. Cheez NCB, that intinerary of your mate is a rippa, must have some good $$$'s in his accounts for having done EU a number of times myself ticks arn't under 100bucks our $ lol..... Its not offseason really MCG :) Looking forward being at Lambert Park/The Palace/Edensor now and then rest of the current season. They have a vibe I appreciate. Some posts have nailed some rippas ie Muz's Bocs/Plate derby, what a buzz that would be. Argentina games would be epic to experience, one day. I actually would luv any country around those parts. Chile for eg.... Been to Liga/Bernabeu - what a stad, watched RM play Sevilla pre covid - like to see the Barca derby or Copa Del Ray. Any games in Italy get me excited, was at the Inter derby @ San Siro season before last, what a buzzzzzz just getting to the ground 2hrs before koff - like to watch any games at lower levels as NCB mentions and will look into it coming Feb when there. Went to a Spurs/Chelsea at White Heart Lane, what a buzz even though not my clubs. UK bucket list is LFC/Toffees LFC/United Championship games. Wrexham is great storey and like to see a game at the Racecourse. Croatia another league I'd like to see, Zagreb vs Rijeka (my ol mans home town) and also say gday to Dukes at his cafe. Could put down heaps but dreaming re OS, my local grounds/Prem1/NPL and Aus Cup are keeping me busy.

Yes real shame they stuffed up. For those playing at home, one day you're living in Italy, the next you're suddenly living in Yugoslavia. And in our case my family, even though they're ethnically Slav - although I think even then they identified as Italian, had issues and for their safety decided to move on - it was a complicated situation as it often was in those times.

+xOff season init. Nah, mid season What games or grounds have you lucky enough to have been to and which do you want to check out? NST Promotion playoff Unfortunately I've never travelled abroad so.... not counting Griffith + Leeton local grounds (outside of NPL), but unfortunately also counting other sports... Solar Mad Stadium (Griffith NSW - NPL) Greenway (Tuggeranong ACT - NPL) Gungahlin (Gungahlin ACT - NPL) Deakin Stadium (Deakin ACT - NPL) Riverside Stadium (Queanbeyan NSW - NPL) O'Connor (O'Connor ACT - NPL) McKellar Park (Belconnen ACT - NPL & ALW) Bruce Stadium (Belconnen ACT - ALM, ALW, AFC Asian Cup & Socceroos) AAMI Park (Melbourne VIC) - ALM & NRL Melbourne Cricket Ground (Melbourne VIC) - AFL & WWE Stadium Australia (Sydney NSW) - NRL & Socceroos Central Coast Stadium (Gosford NSW) - NRL Parramatta Stadium - pre-renovation (Sydney NSW) - NRL Within Australia, the two I really want to do that I haven't (because who knows if/when I'll get to travel) are Suncorp (maybe the Olympics is my chance to go there for packed out football?) and Lakeside in Melbourne.

Once against Wednesday when they were in the Championship, and a few years later because the website still recognised my "membership" I found getting tickets easy for a game there against Huddersfield when in the EPL. Their fans are known for not being the noisiest - but it is a good atmosphere - especially if you get tickets in the 'tourist area' next to the away section.

Been there and done it a few times - thankfully 1st was long ago during the long 30yr sentence lol but it was great back then. Most EPL grounds have become too biz like and filled with wealthy asians etcetc.... My last real ol ground experience was one of the last games at White Heart Lane vs Chelski. Nothing beats the old stads imo as old and unsafe they became and obviously not enough seating for more $$$$$$$$. The Cottage is cool I agree.

You get off the bus and walk down a typical London residential street and suddenly there it is in front of you. You squeeze through the turnstiles to hear lots of cool music blaring out - Fat Boy Slim, Buzzcocks, The Clash... The tourist section is actually right next to the tunnel so you have both a good view of the cottage (if that's what excites you) and the players running out as the security high five them. And Mitrovic scored a late winner if I remember rightly. The latter time I visited I also fit in a game at Stamford Bridge for my chelsea loving son. What a bore that was - ok so it was a 0-0 but still the atmosphere was rubbish. And the way you have to go through the merchandise shop to get to your seats is just so cynical.
