Need to let Aiden start he's captain of Standard Liege for a reason... we need to start blooding new leaders into the team. He needs to be given time to adjust.

Happy to see Nisbet there again. Lots of flying lately. I think it's important that newcomers keep getting picked if it's warranted as we need to prepare for inevitable injuries and retirements.

I think Arnie has gone tried and true to start the campaign. We need a good start. I don't there will ever be a perfect time to transition so I'd start early. I really hope you're wrong re: Robertson. 

It’s a stable squad, nothing exciting but solid.

Either Arnie doesn’t like creative players or we don’t have many to choose from at the moment.

It was interesting to hear Arnie’s reasoning regarding Robertson’s exclusion from the squad, either he doesn’t want to be involved due to coming back to club football recently or he probably changing he’s mind with regarding who he wants to change he’s alliances too.
I fear the later but we will keep an eye on it, that’s for sure. 

Thnx to Grazor for confirming Peru haven't named Robertson but we've given a 4 week window for Peru to make a call. I wish the situation were simply put to bed and we cap him 3 times in A internationals.. 

Yeah I think we lack midfield creativity outside Nisbet. I'm really frustrated Robertson hasn't been picked to lock him in. He'd be a starter. The only positive spin I can put on it is maybe Arnie is playing the long game and letting Robertson settle in. 

I think we'll need Nisbet at some point. Arnie will play Irvine high and rely on his tenacity. 

Devlin got in. Good to claw his way back. Probably best for Indonesia away to harass them. Seeing the midfielders not in from the wiki: McGree, Luongo, Yazbek, Hrustic, Genreau, Robertson. A lot of brain and ability missing out due to different reasons.

Elder is just done. It's a massive shame. His interview a few years ago showed leadership and captain qualities too. It's true he must not fit into the group. I remember his cap speech and Sainsbury said 'why are you talking to the camera and not us?' Banter, but his body language didn't look like he was at home. 

Robertson must have been told to focus on club stuff as he's new there but this window was a chance to get 2 caps and then a 3rd then the story is put to rest. Peru will enquire again no doubt. Negligent I find.

No McGree and Robertson removes a creative element. The rest have plenty of stamina which we'll need for these games. We're going to rely on the front and wings to break through. 

I didn't want to be negative but it doesn't excite me regards the engine room agree.

Looking like a potentially weak team overall judging by the way some players have started this season. I;'d say 50% of the team is almost there cause there is nobody else for that position, as opposed to they are straight on the teamsheet. But then again I am a grumble bum

I would have had Robertson start but maybe Arnold is letting him settle in at his new club. Although he didn't give Nisbet that luxury.
