What do you think about the FourFourTwo article TeleChoice Premier League Round 3 Review?
Sydney United has maintained its two-point lead at the top of the TeleChoice Premier League ladder following Round 3 matches.

Have your say.

First-half goals to Nahuel Arrarte and Erick Anabalon set-up the Stallions win, before Iraqi import Ali Al-Hilfi rounded out the 3-0 win 10' minutes from the end.

The win sends Lee Sterrey's Marconi into second-spot, two-points adrift of League leader Sydney United.

Hey Marconi

Can you give me a link to check how the Marconi Girls sides are going. I live in QLD these days but my girl played in the juniors before we left.
We are also looking at coming back "home" at the end of the year and Marconi will be our first choice to look at.

Cheers

Marconi is probably the best run(and most professional) club in the NSWPL, BUT we have the most saddest excuse of a website. No info available for jackall.

Which side did you girl play in?

She got picked at aged 10 for the U12's for Marconi and is now 15 (Will be 16 when we come back). She has made the QLD Development squads for U12 & U13. They dont go to nationals untill U15.
I also thought the club was run very professionally and that is one of the main reasons we would make that our first choice. She was very well looked after and although we felt a little out of place as parents when we first joined, other parents there where great making us feel welcome.
She will be a good pick up

They do know how to take care of their players, from grassroots throught to NSWPL. Always has been a great example of how to run a football club here in Asutralia(especially in making the transition from ethnic club to community club).

BTW what was it that made you guys feel out of place? What area did you guys come from?

Probably a bit badly phrased. Sounds poor now that I have re read it. It was our first experience in a multi cultural club. That still doesnt read too good either. The Italians where lovely people and went out of their way to look after us. My statement that Marconi is my first choice shows how much we got out of it. We came from St Clair in the Penrith region. i do not have any positives to say about Nepean, that is one poorly run and biased area.

The only critisism of Marconi club is the Pokies are too tight

When I first started working with Marconi(technical coach for the 11's) I though it would be a little like that, but its just so open that its one big mix of different nationalities, which is refreshing compared to some of the other clubs Ive been involved with.
