Times change, we all move on. Not always at the moment of our choosing. Ange appears to be focussing on creating a youth-based team. Craig Foster may argue that he is not the best man for that job. Ange may be out to prove a point? Any one who listens to craig Foster, especially since he doesn't like Ange anyway, has a serious problem. Foster has a chip on his shoulders the size of the Great Australian Bight. The man is off the planet, still seething from not making the grade in top flight English football. Ange on the other hand has won two NSL titles. I would put money on Ange to make Brisbane a very competitive team.

I can't believe you're dismissing Moore getting pissed off at the way his mates are being treated and severely disliking Postecoglou out of hand. Quotes from identified sources are usually the mark of a credible article. As has been mentioned previously the loan deal to move away from the Roar has been on the table since the start of the season. There has been talk more recently that Moore could begin his loan spell before season's end. Aside from this source, there have only been assumptions made about Moore and Postecoglou's relationship.

Technically shouldn't this be in the rumour mill??? I'm suprised he'd walk out and simply not retire. I know he's got ambitions for WC2010

Times change, we all move on. Not always at the moment of our choosing.   Miller walked because Ange didn't want to open up talks with him just yet. Miller didn't even have the professionalism to finish out the season and earn another contract. Hasn't played well since the start of last season anyway- a few touches here and there but nothing special. But you seem to be impressed by players that don't do anything like your mate Culina. Maybe you should try and develop some kids who can actually go on to perform on your senior team? You really think that Moore is such a little baby that because his "mates" are on the way out, all over them- Malcolm aside- leaving on their on volition that he would start on like this? The loan move away from the Roar to stay fit for the WC has been talked about since the start of this season. Why would Moore risk moving and giving up a chance to one day coach the Roar, an aspect that you have conveniently overlooked that has been talked about? I'd say next season his contract will be downgraded from marquee status and some back-end coaching deal similar to the one that Muscatt seems to have orchestrated for himself at MV will be on the table for Moore. Moore has played his best couple of games of the season since Ange took over anyway. Can't believe people are treating tribal football as gospel.

I heard from somewhere else...(perhaps here) that he had a blow up with Ange over his team talk before the Wellington game....which they won 4-1
I guess I should feel sad too see a current Socceroo leave but Brisbane Roars media work is so poor their hardly taking advantage of him anyway. I would be more upset if they lose Devere

They are all on there way out for different reasons though.. Malcom is terrible and not worthy of any a league side.... Miller is lazy which is what ange doesnt like... Tiatto is retiring

I was wondering in my blog yesterday what damage round 3 of our local derby would inflict. It appears just the thought of it is enough to decimate the Roar!
Like Charlie Miller and Danny Tiatto, Craig Moore lives on the Gold Coast. I can think of a club who could use a solid defender, if he's happy to fit under the cap...
Moore's probably getting frustrated that his WC chances are slipping away this season, he sure looks a whole lot better with a decent team around him (e.g. Socceroos).

And about time, but I'd imagine Moorey would be the exception to that rule.

Quote:Brisbane Roar skipper Craig Moore is set to leave the club following a bust up with coach Ange Postecoglou.
A source close to the Roar revealed that the Australian international defender is on the verge of walking from the club as his relationship with the coach has become fractured in recent times.
It is unsure where Moore will end up but it looks almost certain that the 33-year old will continue his career at a club other than the Roar who he joined in 2007 from English club Newcastle United.
I know you would think tribal football is a unreliable source but they generally are accurate when it comes to the A-League especially with players signings etc. There is a good chance now that Craig might go to Sporting Melbourne which would be a good coup for the club.
