The clown who signed this pelican (Zdrilic), is the assistant coach of that 2nd grade Japanese team - Ian Crook.

He was the interim coach before the Sydney FC "Backwards" Board signed Limbarski. Ian Crook (the clown) brought on some more of the current crop of crap Sydney players (and ex-players) including: Andrew Packer, Ruban Zadkovich, Terry McFlynn and Ian Fyfe. When he realised the truth behind his creation - he fled, leaving some of these pelicans of lengthy 3 year contracts.
Terry Butcher was stupid enough to reccommend Fyfe for an extended contract - so we are stuck with him for another year or two...

This should have been long ago. Zdrilic is shit - him and Fyfe are defintely the worst players at the club. They are engraved on my Sydney FC Shit List.

Additionally i really hope that Ruben Zadkovich leaves. Occasionally he'll get past the defender and create a moment of quality, but for the majority of the time - he is shit. He has a massive ego - and thinks he he can dance his way around defenders... Send him back to QPR.

David Zdrilic will always be remembered as the biggest flop to come back from Europe, whose wages cost his club (Sydney FC) 3 competition points for breaches of the salary cap.

Did we ever learn who signed him in the first place? Is that genius still working for Sydney FC?
