I would say South Melbourne got lucky.... We keep on getting lucky though. Last week (prior to the stupidity) we have virtually nothing infront of goal... Big central defender who had been cleaning up all day had to leave the pitch for treatment in the last minute, long ball into the box, two headers and it's a goal. Yesterday, average game, bit of class from Keenan and then hold on for another 3 points. Hard to argue with an unbeaten side - add a striker to the squad and we'll be very tough to play. No chance of A-League or 2nd division at the moment, but I'm quietly pleased with the FFA's decision to sign off on the Singapore Cup spot, it suggests that they are willing to give us a bit of rope and see what we can do. A good performance there, coupled with good league performance here, could pay dividends in the long term.
