was thinking on the way home from uni because of the time in the morning for certain fixtures it might be difficult to get people enthusiastic about going out for the game especially if they have work in the morning (my best mate starts doing prac teaching during the break where its 8:30am-4pm and wouldn't be too keen on going in to a live site or a pub for an Australia game at 4 in the morning on a wednesday). So just pretty much list the fixtures that your keen to see at a live site or a pub and your city, and see if you want to have any 442 meet-ups (wanted to do this for the Melbourne Sydney finals games but at the time it was too short notice to really organise the logistics of it)
but anyway my fixtures that i'll be going in for are in Sydney at one of the Live Sites or in a Pub
13th June England vs USA 4:30 14th June Australia vs Germany 4:30 19th June England vs Algeria 4:30 20th June Australia vs Ghana Midnight
and the big double header
24th June England vs Slovenia Midnight 24th June Australia vs Serbia 4:30
and might go in for one of the NZ games of one of the Dutch one's aswell

I'd imagine the Pig & Whistle in Brisbane on Eagle St would be the easiest and best meetup point for any Vegasians. I'll probably be there for a few of the games.
Or Park Road, obviously - the site of some magnificent celebrations last WC.

Will be going into the city. Most likely to the fan fest or to a pub.

Tuesday night looks good with NZ vs Serbia then Ivory Coast vs Portugal at Midnight... anybody interested or got suggestions for a meet up?

After scouting the live site today - see the thread i created with pics :P, i don't think it's gonna be all that it's hyped up to be, it's gonna be too small. i dont think the organisers thought it through cause theres construction of a 13 storey carpark going on. The domain woulda been a better idea for mine. Im up for a couple of pub crawls through the city.
WOLLONGONG WOLVES FOR A-LEAGUE EXPANSION!

just trying to do my scouting pre-world cup for bars... like if i get desprate there's always the Criterion that's always open 24 hours which is always a good back up option... but Cheers is always full regardless... Three Monkeys isn't a bad option (you want a bar where you can stand).. i don't really like the bars close to the live site really... any other options...
good to see you in croatia... tuesday cool yeah?

I was only going to check out the 21:30 game between Germany v Serbia next Friday night at the Fan Fest, and then the following Friday perhaps the Brazil v Portugal game at midnight. Too much a pain in the ass to get to the city midweek for those kickoff times.
Tempted to go to the Japan v Holland game at 21:30 on a Saturday night, purely for the womenz.
