Been on Fox Sports News a few times tonight...

Embarrassing. Painful to watch. Hope to God no one at FIFA talks to him about football with regard to our bid - leave it to the football people, please.

He's given $45 million to the bid, and his background is as a Diplomat, which is why the WC bid is right up his alley, despite the criticism of his PM performance of late, he'd be a good 'International Diplomat/Ambassador' for the FFA if he lost the PM job, opening international doors is his background.

You should thank f..k that an Australian Federal Government takes our sport seriously.

Happy to take his money, mate, but his performance with the Socceroos last night was painful to watch. The forced smiles on Neill and Schwarzer's faces as he spoke, and the look of semi-disgust on Pim's face when he told the squad to listen to "most" of what Pim told them, were cringe-worthy.

The only time he actually looked comfortable was when joking with Harry Kewell when photos were being taken.

I didn't see it.

I did see Pim's interview on Thursday night live, not t alot of smiles and he had to go in the middle of it (on live TV!).
I think they also got the shaft from the Dutch team in the elad up tot he friendly, (they showed the interview in it's entirity).

No wonder football doesn't get many favors in the media.

Only caught a little bit, but glad he didnt attempt a John Howard and try a penalty! LOL! Everytime I see that vision of Howard trying to bowl that leggie I have to look away. Then again I suppose they didnt get out to the local park as kids or they wouldnt be where they are today.
