I like Jedi he's no absolutly fantastic but he's a good example of what A-league players can achieve if they work hard and have the righ attitude. What do you think about the FourFourTwo article Jedi's Mind Tricks? WITH a decision on Pim Verbeek's final 23-man squad for the World Cup less than nine days away, you could forgive some tension creeping into the Socceroos camp.Have your say.

Jedi. What a champion.
If he isn't selected, it makes a mockery of Pim's initial selection criteria.

Well done CCM!! Sydney United developed him not CCM. He was hardly international standard when he ran out for the Mariners. He was by the time he left. It's not rocket science.

Point is it was at Sydney United where he developed as a player. It was CCM that got him noticed that's all. Edited by sydneycroatia58: 21/5/2010 06:59:27 PM

F*ck.
If you want to get bogged down in semantics -
CCM developed him to an international standard.
Happy?

Daniel1991 wrote:Good player and he was developed by the A-League. In your faces. #-o No he wasn't. He spent his whole youth career at Sydney United and spent more of his senior career at Sydney United than he did at CCM. He developed as a player at Sydney United but was only noticed once he got a chance in the A-League. He was 22/23 by the time he was playing for CCM. He had already made the bulk of his development before that.

Sydney United product. Well done to them. Well done to Jedi for taking the opportunity presented in the A-League and furthering his career for the Socceroos.

The guy was a good player at sydney united. Then an A-league club came and picked him up. At that stage a move to Turkey was not on the cards. After a few seasons of A-league football he was noticed as a good player suggesting he wasn't before hand and not when he first started. Therefore thank you to Sydney United for getting him to A-league standard. And thanks CCM for getting him to Turkey standard. and thank you Turkey for getting him to International standard. EVERYONES A FUCKING WINNER!

Could be, Skoko was very unlucky not to get any kind of a run imo. But he was behind the Culina who was a solid Dutch performer and Grella who had been solid in Seria A for years. Jedi is (not)behind a Culia looking average in the A League and the Grella who hasn't really played for a season , and is average when he does. Here's hoping Jedi gets a long run.

I'd prefer him over both Culina and Grella at the moment. Mile's a fantastic player, who has by all accounts had a fantastic season in Turkey and has had plenty of game time.
