Gee, that timmy Cahill.. such a nice young man....
Whatever Tim, everyone is stoked essien won't be playing, he's the lifeblood of that ghana team. Sure everyone feels bad for him, but.... meh....

What do you think about the FourFourTwo article Cahill Rejects Essien 'Boost'?
SOCCEROOS star Tim Cahill has rejected any suggestion that Australia's Group D prospects have just got a whole lot easier thanks to Michael Essien's absence for Ghana.

Have your say.

Of course it isn't a "boost", because Ghana will also be "weaker" against Germany and Serbia as well...

So you think that Micheal Essien loss is no help whatsoever for Australia?

I think this gives us a boost for sure. lets be honest we are pretty large underdogs against germany and serbia. Ghana without Essien is a game we should win and then if we can get somehow pull of a draw against either serbia or germany then it might just be enough to get us through!
